The Hydraulic Flange Spreading Wedge Tool is a compact, high-force subsea maintenance tool designed for the safe separation of flanged connections during inspection, repair, maintenance and decommissioning operations.

The wedge can be inserted into flange gaps as small as 5 mm and delivers a maximum spreading force of 277 kN (27.7 Te) per tool.

The stepped jaw design enables controlled and parallel flange separation, creating openings of up to 124 mm to facilitate gasket replacement, seal ring changes, flange inspection and joint maintenance.

Supplied with an integrated ROV handle and hydraulic MiniBooster intensifier, the tool is ideally suited for offshore and subsea operations where safe and controlled flange separation is required.
